Terms of service
These terms govern every order placed on maison-44.com. Placing an order means you accept them.
Who we are. Maison 44, operated by [[legal seller name]], [[boutique address]], Cairo, Egypt.

Orders. An order is confirmed when we confirm it, not when it is placed. We may decline or
cancel an order if an item is no longer in stock, if a price was published in error, or if we
cannot reach you to arrange delivery. Nothing is charged on a cancelled order.
Prices. All prices are in Egyptian pounds and include any applicable tax. Prices can change at
any time, but never after an order is confirmed.
Payment. Cash on delivery, or InstaPay transfer to the number shown at checkout. An InstaPay
order is prepared once the transfer arrives. We never ask for card details by phone, WhatsApp or
email.
Delivery. We deliver across Egypt. Delivery timing is an estimate, not a guarantee, and we are
not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather or a wrong or incomplete address.
Returns. Inspect your order while the courier is with you. Clothing may be handed back on the
spot, unworn and with tags attached, for exchange or refund. Once the courier leaves, the sale is
final. Makeup, skincare, fragrance and accessories are final sale for hygiene reasons; if something
arrives damaged or incorrect, refuse it with the courier. Full detail is in the refund policy, which
forms part of these terms.
Product photographs. Colours vary between screens, and fragrance and makeup shades read
differently in daylight. A small difference between a photograph and the item is not a fault.
Your account and content. Keep your account details to yourself; you are responsible for
activity under your account. Do not use the site to break the law, to scrape or copy the catalogue,
or to interfere with how the site runs.
Our content. The photographs, text and design on this site belong to Maison 44 or its suppliers
and may not be reused commercially without permission.
Liability. We are responsible for delivering the goods you ordered, in the condition described.
We are not liable for indirect loss — missed occasions, lost profit or knock-on costs.
Changes. We may update these terms; the version published here at the time of your order is the
one that applies.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute is
heard by the Egyptian courts. Nothing here removes rights you have under Consumer Protection Law
181/2018.
